We are staffed with many board certified ED physicians and midlevels along with highly trained nurses, paramedics and patient care technicians. Our Emergency Department is located at the Main Entrance of Clark Regional Medical Center with close parking access. We offer a high degree of patient centered care, privacy and comfort for patients and their families. Emergency Services at Clark Regional are innovative, dynamic, fast-paced yet thorough. The high acuity and highly varied practice setting gives emergency medicine staff exposure to all medical specialties.

What to Expect in our ER
As a patient, you will be cared for by staff trained to respond to any type of medical emergency. We understand a visit to the ER can be a very stressful time; therefore, you should expect us to communicate with you and guide you through your situation. You should always ask questions if you do not understand.

American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center
Clark Regional Medical Center received Chest Pain Center from the American College of Cardiology. We are dedicated to providing our patients with the best heart care treatment available. As an accredited facility, we use the newest methods and best practices in heart care to ensure that our patients receive:

UK Gill Heart & Vascular Institute Network
Clark Regional Medical Center is an affiliate of the University of Kentucky's Gill Heart & Vascular Institute Network. This allows us to offer quality heart care close to home. The collaboration enables us to have access to tools for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Primary Stroke Center
Clark Regional Medical Center has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® and the American Stroke Association’s Heart-Check mark for being a Primary Stroke Center. In order to obtain certification, Clark Regional created a stroke committee team, including physicians and frontline staff champions, defined a stroke alert process that include the use of Clinical Practice Guidelines to ensure patients receive fast, evidence based care, as well as provided stroke education throughout the community at various events.
